Happy holidays! We were recently asked to create a Flash-animated, Web-based holiday card for one of our larger clients, the law firm Arent Fox. The card needed to serve two purposes: not only would it offer the firm’s holiday greeting, but it also needed to announce the Washington office’s move to a new address. The deadline was tight, there was little initial design direction, and we don’t often work with Flash, but like many designers, we relish this sort of challenge. We tried a few different ideas, including an interactive version that required some input from the people on the receiving end. After a few rounds, we ended up with a simple little wintry movie.
